And I am a spice addict. I used to grow Caribbean H abaneros , Trinidad S corpions , and Carolina Reapers. I usually order maximum spicy at the local Thai and Vietnamese places and am often disappointed . (Though I know they tone it down for the white guy.) Today. No. It burns so bad good .

I love spicy going in. I hate the other direction part. I hate it for days.

A friend of mine sent his curry chicken back because it wasn’t spicy enough. After the waiter brought it back to the table, it was nearly inedible. Best part was the entire cook staff stepping out of the kitchen to watch him take the first bite. He did his best not to react, but he immediately broke into a sweat and started tearing up. I did my best not to laugh. :)

What is that thing called? I'm a spice fiend too.

Thats a crazy chicken with a bomb hot. They have doritos in Japan with a guy kicking another dude in the nuts on the bag to convey the pain awaiting you.

Of course Japan has Dark Souls flavored doritos lol.

Haha had something similar at a noodle place in town. My friend and I asked what their hottest level was and the waiter responded “Make me cry.”
And boy did it ever. - The owner/ head chef came out to thank us because they had fun making it.
It was... about as spicy as this. Maybe a little more.-

Honestly you could probably just buy 1 kg of Gochujang (Korean c hili paste) and a large package of Gochugaru (Korean c hili powder) to mix into noodles and it’ll be similar to this. And that way you can make Tteokbokki ( Korean rice cakes) too with those. Some of the best damn comfort food out there in my opinion .

I’m curious about these now. I wonder how spicy they are.

Legit spicy. Super tasty too! I might see about one lower spice level when these run out.

I confirm they’re VERY spicy. I got those at the local Korean grocery. I like spicy stuff, but that was not enjoyable for me.

We have an excellent Thai place close to our home and what they call spicy really ain’t, and last time we went there, we said, “Make it spicy.” And they did, and the chef came out to make sure we were okay. They’re really great at that place and we love going there.

Missus and I like hot and spicy food, but I’d be skeptical about these packaged noodles not being overwrought with salt and onion powder and such. I’d rather stick with Trader Joe’s haba
ñero sauce and good old fashioned McIlhenny Tabasco sauce.

I love Thai food. I learned long ago that there’s no standardization on levels of heat. My favorite place back in college used a five-star heat scale. I was usually a three. I’ve only seen one guy eat a five . He didn’t get away unscathed. :)

just had them...so good! They are warm but quite delicious. The kids had a bite and reacted as 9, 12 and 13 year olds would! I should have recorded it...
I’ll continue to eat these as I think they are genuinely good. Thanks for the tip.
